The pre-seasoned pan doesn't work and Fried eggs stuck. I took a grinder to it and took out the pebbled surface that the sand casting leaves behind and re-seaoned it with canola oil. Now it is getting better with each use. There are numerous videos on youtube that show how to smooth out the pan and re-season it. If you're not handy with tools then don't buy it.

I've had good luck with cast iron pans over the years. Once well seasoned, they last forever. This skillet arrived "pre-seasoned" but still needs to be seasoned more times with light cooking oil. I've about got my skillet to the right seasoning level, and it's perfect for smaller meals.

While this skillet is very useful, it is still cast iron. You need to have some experience cooking with cast iron to make it worthwhile. If you are used to Teflon coated, you most likely will not like this pan. Cast iron takes some time to get used to, but it's worth it in the long run.
