I like this routine. There's a balance between workout and peace. I wanted some aerobic-like movement and some quiet, more subtle movements in a yoga routine and got them both. Only thing I don't like is that the 4 models?! often do things somewhat differently. I realize that we all do what we can in yoga, but there are times when I'm unsure just how to do some things. I've only had this DVD a few days so maybe some of those uncertainties will clear up soon enough. At one point she says something like, "It's the courage that you bring to your practice that will improve your life." Something like this. There are a few points where she says things in this sort of vein. I like this. I've just bought Gurmukh's book, The Eight Human Talents to get a broader understanding. I feel good afterwards and that's important to me. I've only done Hatha yoga before this but like the aerobics of this.Read full review
Gurmukh is an excellent teacher. The exercises in this yoga are great for waking you and energizing you. She helps you raise your energy including one with breath of fire. The exercises helped open me up and gave me energy. Really like the meditation and relaxation with gongs at the end.

This yoga i brought years ago on VHS and i wondered why manny celebrities bragged about her all the time. This product delivers and breaks all the barriers that hold us back in life. I finally brought it on DVD after so many years and ive stuck with it this time. It challenges you, but when you break through those challenges, your life will change. Ive tried many kundalini yoga DVD's, but this one really stood out for me. You wont be sorry you brought this DVD, i am very greatful. I brought one for my friend who suffers from depression and its turning her life around. As kundalini feeds the brain you are exposed to unlimited possibilities and self healing. I encourage anyone who is looking to break down limitations in life and to get on the road to a happy and fulfilling path to try this. Im glad i found this program again. Highly recommend it.Read full review

I have been practicing yoga for several years now, and i can say based on my experience, and just using common sense, that the excercises shown in this video has nothing to do with yoga. It seems more like a warm up session with some tae bo (literally it shows a punching excercise)included there. Is really disapointing to see people teaching this kind of excersice advertising it as "yoga" misleading beginers to experience a warm up session and calling that yoga? is even embarassing for the real teachers to see this kind of misinformation. I highly URGE BEGINERS NOT TO BUY THIS DVD.
Like the other reviewers here, for me, this is a 5 star DVD. The setting is very relaxing and the instructor is encouraging and precise. The entire program is about 65 minutes and goes continuously, but it doesn't feel like over an hour because you are constantly moving and being encouraged. There are some very difficult moves in this DVD (Jumping forward with one foot and back with the same foot while punching and bending and straightening your legs while your hands are on the ground) that people with knee or ankle problems would find difficult, but you are always encouraged to do what you can. I've noticed my arms and waistline are more toned and I feel much better after doing this DVd.
