I purchased this router for three reasons. I had to keep rebooting my old Linksys router because it kept dropping my laptops connection. The second reason is that it is actually two routers in one. I use the "N" connection with the wireless N bridge which is connected to my Blu-Ray player which I can use for streaming video. I use the G connection for my computers. It's been several months now that I've had this router and it's been rock solid not a single reboot! By now I would have rebooted my old router three times. And the last reason...great rice. Extremely easy to setup both networks. Most excellent!
The title says it all. it is cheap and with the N Wifi standard. You can also install a different firmware and interface by installing the firmware found on 'dd-wrt_dot_com'. You could do worse for less than $20 US.

This one is still in the box, it's a spare. I manage the WIFI for a 5 acre RV park with motel. I love these things. easy to program as a router or a repeater with the ddwrt download. Range doesn't seem to be as wide as a repeater, but I've had no trouble or complaints in the last 10 months. Three of them are up trees as repeaters. One covers the 12unit motel as a repeater. Receive a good signal even through the metal RVS. Can't go wrong.
Blistering speed with N and improvements with G, and easy doesn't begin to describe the setup. Worked right out the box with Comcast, and if you run windows 7 or get Cisco wireless sticks, it’s TOO easy. Push the link button, click the screen, and DONE! I have 2 PCs, 3 laptops, XBOX, and Wii all on it and its smooth as butter. If your ready for a new router, Quit reading this and find a "Buy it now". You can thank me later.
Everything works great on the router, except for the 5ghz wifi. I have full bar access with the 2.5ghz on my laptop throughout my 5000 sq ft, 1 story house. But the 5ghz dosen't even show up unless I'm in the same room as the router. And even then, there's only 3 or less bars and it would completely dissappears at times. Unless you have to have the 5ghz option, this router has my tumbs up. Router controls are simple, such as opening ports for games and such. 2.5ghz signal is amazingly strong. And it looks great on the table.
