Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in Acoustic Electric Guitars
No need to get into all of the tones and tunings here, but suffice it to say, I need one guitar now to gig with instead of five or six in different tunings. When in "Les Paul" mode, it doesn't sound absolutely as good as my Les Paul, but it's close enough that minor amp and/or pedal adjustments can compensate. A couple of the modelings are iffy, especially the 12-strings, but again, for gigging in a club, this is more than good enough. I wish the acoustic models sounded a bit more natural, as this is the real reason I bought the guitar, but again.....still experimenting with amps and settings to get the best out of it. I bought this used and it only had scratches on the plastic on this pickguard! Basically a brand new instrument. The computer interface from Line6 permits lots of customization...custom tunings, even custom per-string volume adjustment. It can also interface directly to USB for recording. As to the feel of the guitar, I didn't find the neck chunky at all, it feels like an early 60's C profile. I lowered the action on the guitar a bit to improve playability and it didn't affect modeling. tuning is very solid. I have not really gone crazy with the tremolo but I am impressed with how well it stays in tune, the tremolo tension and action was set up well. I'm only 15 days into owning this thing and I've only scratched the surface of the tonal versatility it can provide. Oh...the olympic white is not the pinkish color in the photo, but the pickguard is a light mint green...looks cool. A great investment.Read full review

I have owned just about every variation of this guitar but this one beats them all. The ash body really resonates making this guitar feel better than any other Variax's I've owned. The translucent finish lets the ash bodies beauty shine. The electronics is the same as the imported units. The neck is quarter sawn and this adds to the resonance of the body, adds strength to the neck, and adds to the neck's beauty. The standard pickups also benefit from the body and neck. The finish quality is first rate.

a swiss army knife of guitars. nice resonance and tone quality, unfortunately the neck feel is way too beefy for my hands. I play a Tom anderson drop top that has a 62 vibe neck profile thats way more tapered for the feel that I like.
