This film changed my life! It aroused my interest in "madness", and led to me studying psychology, and later working with learning-disabled adults and children. Important people in my life at that time found it affected them similarly. It was probably only the second time I'd seen Jean Seberg in a film, if not the first, and the memory remained until the film was shown at the BFi earlier this year. Even they didn't know where I could buy a copy, so I was especially glad to get a copy - all the way from PA, USA from a couple equally enthusiastic about it, AND! it arrived packed in American paper, another e arly memory from presents I'd received from an American pen-friend, in my "pre-teen" days!
Interesting movie

This is a nice movie. I like it because it was filmed in my hometown, Rockville Maryland when I was in Jr High School. I walked by the some of the actors cars. I like that it shows my hometown outside of Washington DC in 1964. It also shows many nearby places as they once were, and some still today. Many of my friends got jobs as stand in.....I wish I had been one. Now as for the move it is hard to follow, not my type of a movie. But you might like it.
One of the most underrated and extraodinary picture with Jean Seberg. Who, to my humble advice, was a impersonation of beauty on Earth. I happen to cross her place, from time to time, at the Montparnasse Cemetary in Paris France. May that angel rest in peace.
I had seen part of this movie many years ago. Never knew name. decided to look-up movies starting Warren Beatty and to my surprise I found it.
