Approval Addiction is one of Joyce Meyer's best books yet. It is easy reading without becoming too technical with medical jargon. Joyce Meyer leads you to understand and identify the cause and effect of approval addiction. I found her book very helpful and insightful. She is a christian author and her main theme is always God as the center of our help. Joyce Meyer is an excellent author because all her books stem from personal experiences. I highly recommend this book for all those people pleasers out there who have had enough. God bless
Wanting the approval of others can put us in the position to be hurt and taken advantage of time and time again. Knowing this was my imprint this book attracted my eye. Listening to it on Audio i have begun to use the knowledge to build a new platform to take responsibilty for myself and out my faith in spiritual ideas instead of human beings. joyce uses scriptual references and explains things so that you can understand it. it's hard to change life long habits, but if you are will to accept the truth - it will definitely set you free.

I love the book it has shown me area's that I need to work on in my life. I decided to buy the book, because I have a hard time telling people I can't do something even if I am hurting from the two different disease's I have are not. I just would tell them sure I can do that for you. I really didn't find any reason not to like the book or the service. I decided to buy from ebay, due to the fact that it was so much cheaper than buying at a store.
This is an excellent book for anyone that might be suffering from the need to get approval for everything they do. This author has been in the same situations she is writing about and learned to overcome. She is funny, uplifting, compassionate, and honest. I highly recommend any of her material.
