I've been using this walk video off and on for many years. I manage to hang in with the group through the 45 minutes of vigorous walk, kicks, knee lifts, and weights. When I watch what I eat as well, I loose weight, -about a lb. each week. In the last five weeks I have been consistent and I've lost 5 lbs. and I can see the difference. The weights are toning me up as well. I ordered two new dvd's to share with my family and friends, also I wanted to make sure I had another available just in case something happened to mine. Years previous I ordered xtras and gave them to members of the family. I've tried a few other walk videos with Leslie but this is my favorite one. Love this lady and love this walking work out. Easy to follow if you lack coordination like me, plus her smile will motivate you to keep going even when you don't feel like it. And I love how she says, doesn't matter if I'm going left and you're going right, doesn't matter if you can't do full extended moves, just keep those feet walking and you'll be fine...Very true, what she says, before you know it the 3 miles are over! I was 250 when I started on October 27, 2014. I am currently 240. I do this 3 mile exercise every day, including weekends, if I'm up to it, I'll do it once in the morning and once before dinner or lunch. I'm watching what I eat. Drinking water. More veggies and fruit on the plate. Left the Pepsi alone. Feeling good. Going to get some more of her DVD's to change the routine up, don't want my body getting use to just one exercise routine, as I've read that can hamper weight loss if your body gets used to doing the same exercises over and over again. I have a library of Leslie's videos and this one is one of my favorites. It is a good workout and you break out a sweat in the first mile and the second mile gets even better and even in the 3rd mile you still keep the intensity high. Combining the weights just adds to the intensity. I have lost 70 pounds using her workouts (and of course watching my food intake). When people ask me how I have done it I always tell them walking at home with my walking videos. A lot of them don't belive that I could have such good results with the videos but if you are committed they work. Leslie does talk a lot sometimes but I just get into the workout and tune her out most of the time. Great video for advanced walkers!
This is an excellent tape after you've gone the distance with the 2 mile tape. She gets off her footing at times and the music's beat isn't always in beat with the foot movement she is doing so it lets you know we are all human and not perfect. There are no "Barbie's" in this one. Wish there was floor exercises with it but I can use my other tape for that after I am done with this. Next step is to get up to the 5 mile DVD!....Maybe next year!
Did not score it as Better than expected, it was as expected. She has a good workout and this is about the 10th one I have gotten. Despite her corney jokes, I like the workouts
