I have to say this is one of the best Leslie Sansone dvd's I have ever purchased. I've done all her miles 1 through 5 to the point where I don't break a sweat at all. This dvd will have you breaking a sweat especially if you don't or haven't used weights in a while. While I do enjoy Leslie's dvds from the past I always felt a little left out because I only did cardio, I never used any type of weights. I love this dvd because not only is it walking but she also incorporates weights in the workout making it a cardio and muscle activating workout. This intensifies it dramatically. There are two 30 minute workouts on the dvd. You can choose to play them with music only or with the music and Leslie's instructions. The first video, Burn 30, is walking with hand weights. The other, Firm 30, is using dumbbells throughout the whole workout to activate your muscle group. You don't have to have handweights or dumbbells for either videos but if you do get them it's recommended that you get (1, 2 or 3 lb hand weights) and (5, 8, 10 or 12+ lb dumbbells). Leslie uses 2 lbs hand weights and 5 lb dumbbells in the videos. The workout rotates throughout the week. Monday, Wed & Friday is the first video using hand weights (Burn 30 Program). One 30 minute workout is power walking to burn fat, and the other incorporates weights to firm muscles. Alternating these workouts builds muscles and increases metabolism. Leslie is always encouraging and makes it fun to walk. This workout CD allows you to walk to the music without the words if you choose. Great option.

There are two separate 30 minute workouts. One is for cardio and one is for strength. You are supposed to alternate them each day. Hand weights are optional. There are about ten other walkers with her but the only one I recognized was Nick. I started watching Leslie on YouTube and I love her workouts. So I started buying some of her DVD's. This one is good as are all her routines but it is not one of my favorites. The music in the beginning is some kind of piano jazz type stuff that reminds me of a Charlie Brown cartoon. The music gets somewhat better later on but it's not the good beat music I have come to expect. This one is different from most I have seen in that it is timed (30 minutes each) rather than being divided into miles. A timer shows on the screen for the last ten minutes. I love this Walking DVD and use it at least twice a week. I have seen results in the last 6 weeks, more toning than losing weight. The one problem I have, though, is the second part of the DVD has problems. It slows down and then stops. I've tried everything, but it has to be the second half of the DVD. I like the first half enough to keep it. Compared to other exercise/walking DVD's I've tried, this one is more fun. I feel like I'm part of the group. I have always liked Leslie Sansone exercise/walking tapes.
