This workout is powerful! You can decide how much weight you want to use (2lbs... 5lbs...etc) I could really feel it in my muscles after the first day. It's great when you don't have time for a long workout, but want the benefits of one. I can squeeze it into my day even when it's busy and I feel like I've worked hard! And if I want to take it easy some days, I just use less weight.... Love it!
This is a very safe workout for strength training with weights. It is easy to follow and the intervals of walking and strength training are spaced so you don't get too tired from the weights. You can adjust the weights from using none at all to using 2lbs, 3lbs, or 5lbs weights, depending on your comfort level. I do this workout every day and love the way my muscles are getting toned! This is definitely my favorite Leslie Sansone workout DVD so far!
I love the Leslie Sansone walking videos. I no longer have a VCR so I'm trying to build a DVD collection. Gave my video collection to some friends who I shared my love of Leslie. This is by far one of my favorites. Love the transition from walking to intense strength building lunges and exercises. I try to do these first thing in the morning before work and I'm looking for programs that are shorter, less time consuming but still a great workout. Well, this did the trick. This one and the Walk and Kick are my favorite tapes.
