Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh you don't have to go-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh Robert Plant in the groove and plenty of guitar riffs. Possibly a bit more "pop" than the norm if that's even possible for this band. Sort of like when Pink Floyd followed with Animals....at any rate, this is great 1970's rockn' Led Zep, even if for them it could be heard as more "easy " listening haha these are tunes I never hear on FM these days - not to mention how the album cover would be banned now - it's a rare thing this one.

Houses of the holy is one of their best albums. I'm a huge zeppelin fan, have been for many years. As a matter fact i use to have all of the zeppelin collection at one time back many years ago. I still enjoy listening to zeppelin, and i'm 53 years old. Zeppelin will never get old with me. One of the greatest rock or the greatest rock bands of all time, just wish that were all still here today. It would kinda nice to see if they would still producing music as they did in the 70's and how much different the music would be like in this decade. Wished they were still going strong but personally in my mind they ARE !
A long time ago I had the original vinyl and loved listening to it. Unfortunately, that album and many more were stolen, and I never replaced them until now. Thank you.

Zeppelin's 5th studio release is outstanding, you can really see the progression in their music and the addition of both writing style changes and a growing musical complexity here. The only song on this that is truly weak is "The Crunge", I could do without that song, and it is one of only a few that I don't really think shoulda made a Zep album but thats just me (especially after knowing that other outstanding songs like "Traveling Riverside Blues" didn't make it on a studio cut). The rest of the music here is awesome, in fact, "The Ocean" which is the last track on this cd, is one of my all time favorite songs along with the Jimmy Page masterpiece "No Quarter" and the haunting lyrics and vocals of Plant singing "Rain Song". This is a must for Zeppelin fans!
The Mighty "Led" released one of their best with this album. Wonderful display of each musician's flexibility.
