What I bought turned out not to be a good runner. Being a lover of Porsches, I quickly made the initial effort (tires, etc.)with no luck. Then I remembered I bought a longtail car with Playboy livery at a hobby shop that was getting rid of them for a song- due to the same ridiculous livery I was checking for possible parts car among my less-than-desirable lot. Then I discovered that the playboy car was actually a longtail Porsche 917! This car runs quite well, and was a perfect fit for my Porsche chassis. BINGO! I now have beautiful car I remember from the '70s that runs like a top. What started out as a black eye for Fly ended up as an example of bad luck turned good.
