Arrived with P20-IR firmware (RAID), detected test drive and worked with sas2ircu under Linux (recent SystemRescueCD), re-flashed it to IT mode (P20 firmware, JBOD), seems to work. Flashing was done on UEFI system, it didn't work on old-ish Intel BIOS motherboard, seems to be a problem with Intel BIOS/EFI implementation. Card comes with a low-profile bracket, radiator gets pretty warm and requires good airflow, I've strapped a fan onto it, the problem seems to be a standard one since it was built for use in server cases. I'm happy with it, but if somebody is going to use it with 2U/low-profile case it would be better to look for another version with SAS ports on the short side, with this model connector clearance would be quite small.
