Not much to say: it is an AMD notebook processor. Excellent value at five dollars. Upgraded a single-core laptop while I had it open to do some other work. The ebay process itself was smooth and easy on this one. I find that AMD processors are excellent performers for the price and have good reliability as well. I do tend to switch back and forth between AMD and Intel although I am currently using A8 APU's in my laptop and desktop at home. With people's exposure to the wider variety of processors in phones and tablets and the iminent delivery of WIndows 8 for the ARM processor architecture, I think AMD will continue to remain a viable and valuable choice of CPU's and other processors in the computer and device marketplace. Ebay will remain a great place to find deals on them.
