I read a lot of reviews about this keyboard before purchasing one and liked how it features a large touch-pad that seamlessly duplicates the touch-screen functionality built into Windows 8. It was originally about a $90 dollar keyboard when this was released and you can tell Logitech put a lot of effort into making it a higher-end quality keyboard. Good weight, great feel and quiet keystrokes, multi-connect wireless USB module, and huge keypad. Once you learn the swipe and finger movement combinations(beyond just using it as a regular touch-pad), this thing can put a mouse/touchscreen combo to shame. The only real gripe I would have is the same one I read about other users experiencing with it before I purchased it. With so many functions, the sensitivity of the touch-pad is probably about half of what a regular membrane is. Off hand, that doesn't sound bad. But if you like to use it as a touch-pad instead of pressing it hard enough to "click" the left button or right button function, it will not register your single or double taps from time to time, which may drive some users nuts. Over clicking and underclicking is therefore easy to do so when using the touch-pad so you really need to keep a close eye on just what responses you are getting. Being mindful to be deliberate in your gestures, taps, and clicks really cuts down on these problems though. So if I had it to do all over again, I would still DEFINITELY pick this up. The prices have really come down on them and I really do love the quality and increased functionality this keyboard gives you.Read full review

TL;DR: Nice design, good range, expensive feel but a huge miss in "key" areas, due to the lack of a ins/del/home/end/pgup/pgdn cluster. I needed a keyboard for a media PC that is about 15feet from the sitting position. The bluetooth unified adapter works fantastic, and has yet to lose a connection. Very robust. The keyboard's design is nice, but it feels like it's trying too hard. I would have preferred to have 2 mouse buttons and a scroll wheel, along with the neat forward/backward buttons most media-oriented mice have. This has them, but they take priority over the function keys (laptop style; you have to hold Fn to get a function key to perform its original function.... odd. It makes accessing low-level functions like entering the BIOS into a game of finger-twister). Also, look as I may, but this board completely lacks page up/down, home, end, insert, and delete functionality, which I REALLY would liked to have had, even if they were Fn-bound to the 4-way arrows (which they aren't.) The board is sleek and thin (About 1cm at the thinnest, and about 5cm at the thickest portion, where the 4 "AA" batteries go. It is made mostly of a high-quality plastic/aluminum. The touchpad is needlessly large, and feels nice; like a cheap version of the ones found on MacBooks, it feels cool to the touch and is solid. The pad itself can be pressed down for a left-click, or the standard trackpad gestures to scroll, right-click, etc... Personally, I would have scaled down the trackpad about 30%, added at least 4 mouse buttons (right, left, forward, backward), and also added the inert/delete/home/end/pgup/pgdn cluster. In the spare space to the left of the newly-scaled trackpad, I would have moved the media function keys to their own special and intuitive cluster, and restored the Function keys' functionality. Also, I'd include a toggle for a laptop-style numeric pad. I can't comment on battery life, as I've only owned it for a couple of weeks. It goes into a seamless sleep-mode when not in use, and even offers an on/off switch right and up above the backspace key.Read full review

One came perfect, the other has a weird issue with the touchpad where it will click down for various reasons like how thin it is (flexing it causes it to click) and some other weird design things, I wish it had backlit keys, but otherwise one of the best keyboards that isn't pocket sized, it's basically a full keyboard with the numpad replaced by a huge touch pad which is actually pretty sweet. I use it on Linux exclusively, and I wish Logitech had better native support for things like gestures, like for instance it's trivially difficult to get pinch zoom (it might not work on this keyboard at all) but things like that leave something to be desired. Seriously would love if Logitech showed Linux some love. It is becoming a force to be reckoned with as a desktop platform, embrace it or be left behind...Read full review

The keyboard is fine, but the touchpad is 100% useless. The mouse jumps around the screen, often doesn't move at all, and it often thinks I've clicked when I have not. I have searched online, done what Logitech said to do in reposone to others' same complaints, but nothing worked. Further, there is no Windows 10 support, which makes no sense.

First, you have to download the software beforehand from the website to get the keyboard to work - it doesn't automatically load But most importantly, the touchpad is very unpredictable and responds very slowly. I thought it had "stuck" since it wasn't moving the cursor then 15 seconds later the cursor starts moving all over the place. Trying to use the L click, R click option is totally unpredictable. Bottom line - didn't work at all for me

Works very well. Just like the keyboard a coworker paid over $150 for. I just wish I would of realized how much I use the numeric keypads wish it had one.

Added new monitor. Needed wireless keyboard and this works great. Touchpad is all in one and easy to learn.

Don't waste your money. This is a good looking item, but it is difficult to set up, and the touch pad sometimes is too sensitive or it does not respond.

Great for not having to readjust your mouse while working because it's all in the hands. Can someone recommend a travel case for it?
