These are beautiful looking clubs, but they won't make you a better golfer. I don't golf much anymore. I used to golf in leagues, and had taken many lessons in years past. I will admit, I am a pretty poor golfer even with the lessons. I dusted off my old Maxfli VHL clubs and noticed the grips were starting to fray. I decided I might be better off just getting new clubs. I got the Maxflis in 1993. I did some research and found that new technology was on the market and I would most likely benefit from it. I read many reviews and found the RAZR XF Irons to be a hot ticket. Again, I say I don't have a good swing, so my experience won't be typical. These clubs seemed to amplify my poor swing more than the Maxflis. I was actually hitting the Maxflis well, and that is why I decided to go with the latest technology. With that being said, my old clubs are steel shaft. I opted for the stiff flex graphite shafts to get me closer to the steel shafts, so that may be a big factor. I will spend more time with them and hopefully learn to use them to my advantage. For now though, it has been a bad experience.Read full review
My wife got this set two years ago, paying about $900. She loves them. I got the same set on eBay for $350. It is Callaway's top end forged set for 2012. The clubs are light and perform best when not swung violently. A smooth swing is rewarded with a good shot. They have a black finish which do not stand up well to sandy lies. I have attempted to protect the clubheads with iron covers, which is clumsy and slows down play; I am just postponing the inevitable cosmetic deterioration. I am a fan of the 6-9 and pw and a-wedge. The 4 and 5 hybrids are so light that I am yet to trust them. More time on the range may prove them to be valuable additions to my bag. I have played golf for 53 years and have been a single digit handicapper until last year. I can only hope that these clubs will return me to an acceptable handicap. Time will tell.Read full review
Great irons for me, as I like the thin top pro irons for the rest of the set the 4/5/6 give me a little more meat for the longer irons. Great combo set for me.

I actually was only looking for a 4-iron when I saw this offer. I like them so much I'm putting together a whole set.

Bought these irons after research. Wanted to swith to graphite shafted clubs. These are light and easy to swing. Preformance is excellent.
