Relatively quiet. Cools the entire apartment very quickly. Seems to run pretty efficiently but won’t know how energy efficient until I get my next bill. A little difficult to install the front “wings” due to self tapping screws into the small housing holes. Recommend screwing in the screws into each hole and removing prior to installing the side pieces. Screws were still tight but much easier to attach wings. Rest of installation was a challenge due to my old window so it probably would be much simpler in a newer window. Once everything was set up, the final installation was a breeze. Haven’t had it long enough to comment on much else.

When it was first turned on the blower fan was wobbling bad and rubbing against the shroud inside the air conditioner like the shaft was bent, pulled it out of the housing and the fan on the back side was spinning true no wobble, I turned the inside fan around to the low spot (this inside fan had about an inch of run out) and tried to pull the run out, out, got a lot of it out but I figured it would never work without having a vibration or rubbing on something inside, it did rub at first but I kept trying to straighten the fan and now it runs perfect, doesn't vibrate cools good, there had to be a frame fabricated to hold the frame out side the building, I mounted this one in a wall, the outside frame also keeps the chassis of the air conditioner square, hope it keeps running like it is now, looks like a brand new air conditioner.Read full review
