I am a big fan of LG phones; the G4050 is no exception. It has great features and is easy to use, most likely you won't even need to open the instruction manual. The phone has a cool sleek look but what I like most is it's durability I have droped this phone into my dogs water bowl and into the toilet, it has fallen out of a moving vehicle out into the highway, has been run over by a skate board and most recently fell out of my pocket and fell under the rocker of my rocking chair and din't so much as budge. It is solid as a rock. The reason it does not recieve an exellent review from me is that some times I have problems with its reception that I have not gotten from other phones.
Very good service, was very pleased,it was a great value for the money it cost, it is easy to use, and it came with all of the accessorys,i like it because all i had to do was put my sims card in it and go.I also had good battery life,I like all AT&T phones, because i like the AT&T phone service, you always have service where ever you may go.
I really like this phone. The sleekness of it is great. The reception problem is more of a network problem than a phone problem. If you are looking for the best - LG makes it and the Lg G4050 is the top of the line. Don't let the dual band fool you. This is a 100% phone. I own two and looking at buying a third.
I owned this phone in 2006. I got it as a worthy replacement for the lg c2000, well chose it as a replacement, after my C2000 was cool but broke. So I got this, and immediately loved it. However I dropped it about a month or two into use (used phone) and the actual flip-open-bar broke, and the screen stopped working. It was a good phone while I owned it.
I bought this phone as a replacement for one that died. The features are not as easily accessible as most phones, the wallpaper is pretty lame, and the battery won't hold a charge. My mistake -- I should have returned it, but I didn't, as I was getting ready to leave the country for a while. I'll have to bite the bullet and buy a new one, when I return. This one just doesn't do the trick.
