The picture quality is great, easy to use- (((BUT))) this TV, the 5300, has a serious irreparable issue. It will shut off and on by itself over and over and over. Troubleshooting will not fix the problem. It has an internal error from what I've researched. LG will not fix the problem and will give no solution other than running you through the troubleshooting. We've had this television for a year now- the problem started a little over 3 months ago and has gotten progressively worse- and now the screen will go black while audio is still playing. We have no choice to replace and I will never purchase a LG television, again. Spend $300 on something else.

i bought this tv because i had good experience with lg tvs,i kike this tv because is good quality on sound and picture and work perfect with video games. just the problem i see is the tv have just 2 hdmi connections..
TV's picture quality is excellent. In the beginning, it was harder to adjust the color, and the contrast.
