Lee six cavity molds are a great improvement over their original mold designs. After receiving the mold, took about 20 minutes to degrease, smoke, and lube. Dropped perfect bullets after about a half dozen pours. Weight was plus/minus .3 grains, and diameter was dead on at .452. Tough to beat for the price.

as with all lee products, I'm a fan. a 6 bullet mold at a reasonable price/availability. this thing throws a lot of bullets fast. I will be loading for a smith M&P 45, so bullets feeding reliably isn't even a question. for guys with 1911's...feeding reliably will ALWAYS be an issue due to it's design so stick to RN! I don't like Lee's tumble lube mold designs as tumble lubing works fine with regular grease groove designs. same for powder coating. wish list for Lee: a 140-145 gr .358 mold for 9mm/38 spl/357 mag, copy of lyman 311041, a better nose design for your rifle bullets that doesn't look so goofy (spitzer design maybe!), sell tumble lube like recluses 45/10/45!

These molds must be cleaned prior to use, then maintain lubrication. Bees wax works good but burns off quickly. A very light coat of two cycle engine oil works very good on sprue plate and hinge points.

Took about three times filling the mold cavities to get it figured out and working great.
