To be honest I expected more. Latoya London is such a great talent, wasted on an album that sounds like too many other average R&B albums. There are 3 songs worth listening and those are good but not good enough. The first is a nice one but Latoya does too much Janet-Jackson-whispering (bad thing). The third is the best song in the album and could've easily make it to the top 10 in billboards. The last is a "All By Myself" cover which she did in American Idol season 3. The recorded song is a remarkable execution but not as good as the live version. The other songs are all average-and-below-average performances. For closing, I'll also buy Latoya's next album for sure. She's too good as a singer to mess up again. If you're not a fan of her as I am, you can skip this album. It's not bad but it's not great either.Read full review
This CD by Latoya is really good. She dynamically shows that she has what it takes to make it in the business. Some of the tracks on this CD will feature her soft, gentle, sexy voice tone and some of the other tracks will showcase her R&B style groove. I can see her going places. You will find that she does her best to make each song unique and to her style, which makes her a very good recording artists. 2 thumbs up!
In this work Latoya shows that although she has yet to garner true "diva" status, she does have good vocal power and range. The song writing on this album mostly focuses on romantic relationships and Latoya does well as a sultry little minx. -Bluebaivai
