Besides being a big fan of singer Kylie Minogue, the price of this cd was very attractive and it was advertised as being in excellent preservation. I was extremely pleased to welcome you and see that the product was exactly as advertised.
Having been a Kylie fan since day 1 of her neighbours career and followed her through 21 years of her life, the X album is the latest offering from the Queen of pop and, like all Kylie music, not an album I intended to miss. This 13 track CD brings out every emotion possible, with hits such as '2 Hearts', 'Wow', 'In my arms' and 'The One' together with others not yet released. 'No more rain' is a particularly emotional song as I know Kylie wrote this one to reflect her comeback after illness. The rest of the as yet unreleased tracks bring out a whole range of different sounds of music. 'Speakerphone' is a prime example of this, with it's robotic sounding tune. Having recently been to the 'X' tour concert and seen the graphics to the video of this, it really is quite a spectacle. This song opened the concert. This album is a must for all Kylie fans. Kylie is back and stronger than ever with her best years still ahead of her. I get the feeling we'll be seeing a lot more of Kylie in years to come.Read full review
key tracks:- the one no more rain speakerphone 2 hearts 10 albums in, and this is probably the most anticipated kylie album of them all. after beating breast cancer, and embarking on the huge showgirl homecoming tour, fans were awiting the new offering with bated breath.. and X doesnt dissapoint. with 1st single, and storming album opener 2 hearts, kylie instantly draws you in with the unexpected, glam-pop gem which is catchy and cool all at the same time. and the follow on singles 'wow' and 'in my arms' prove that kylie still has a penchant for producing instant memorable, pop classics. this album is slick pop at its best, but its the heartfelt ballad of 'no more rain' which shines out over the polished songs, which adds a much needed, deeper and personal feel to the whole affair, as kylie tackles the subject of her illness with a fighting positivity, and still manages to marry it with a catchy tune. the other highlight is the sublime 'the one' with its blondie-esque disco dusted beat, goosebump inducing electric guitar, and smooth vocals, making for a song that should have had a physical release, which surely would have given kylie her 4th uk top 10 from this album. a welcome return indeedRead full review
