This is a great buy if you want to get HD shooting capability at a low price. The case is very rugged, and the unit just feels solid overall. I've beaten up mine pretty good since I bought it used and it just keeps going. You can shoot in 5 different modes. WVGA,720P @ 30 frames per second, 720P @ 60 fps, and 1080P @30 fps. 1080P looks really nice, but you'll want to use 720P@60 fps when you are recording a lot of fast movement. It's also waterproof down to 3 meters, so you don't have to worry about taking it out when it's raining or on a boat. It uses a mini HDMI to full size HDMI connector and uses mini USB, so connection is not an issue. It uses a high capacity mini SD card for storage, so you don't have to mess with tapes or mini-discs. Also, one of the biggest things is that you can just keep it in your pocket, and it's there when something unexpected happens that you want to capture and share.Read full review
Works great and easy to use. Takes great video on my outdoor adventures. Just watch battery use if battery is dead device may not work again. Works GH old just keep an eye on battery and charge before it is depleted and no issues.

Why did I buy this product?: I wanted something I could carry in my pocket all the time in case there was for example, a fight, terrorist attack, a shooting, car crash, or just something awesome that I could upload to the internet for the world to see. Likes: It is waterproof, fits in your pocket, records up to 1080p and also 720p at 60 frames per second. Dislikes: I wish it had a longer battery life, like 6 hours. It only has 2.5 hours of battery life but that is still pretty good, better than my camcorder at 1.5 hours. I would definitely recommend this, beware, there is a newer version of this. The Kodak PlaySport ZX5, which is also shock proof and some other stuff. But they are both very similar. If you can find the ZX3 for under $60 I would get it. I got mine for $57 as of June 23rd 2012, manufacture refurbished. I would get at least a 8GB if not 16GB. I have a 16GB class 10 SDHC card. 15 minutes = 1GB of memory, so if you have a 16GB card like I have, you will get around 3 full hours. I would recommend a case so it doesn't get scratched. Good luck!Read full review
Great little camcorder for my life style ,we horse back ride ,boat ,fish, and the fact it is water proff and small is great. We have our first Grandchild on the way and I was looking for camera/camcorder at a fair price and this has fit the bill prefect. Lot of my freinds are just amazed by it. Like the size about the same size of a cell phone infact my GF thought that it was my cell phone. Really nice camcorder. LOVE IT!!!
In a world of iphone and galaxy camera phones, it is nice to have a camera that can be submerged in water. Aside from that, it does pretty much what a phone with a few apps could do. If your wife is like my wife then downloading is an issue, so this lets me switch out cards so my phone isn't overloaded with videos.
