I purchased this printer because of the name Kodak is stapled in the pictures industry so they should have good printers as well. I am very satisfied with my purchase it is an excellent printer that allows me to connect wirelessly as well as copy, print ,scan and fax. The ink does not seem to kast as long as they say it does but nobody elses printer do either. All in all this is a wonderful product, easy to set up and great software that allows you to edit your pics or documents with ease.
I bought my first Kodak printer in 2013, a Hero 4.2. Their free tech support is by far the best I have ever experienced on any product! When my Hero died at 3 1/2 years old I went to purchase another one, only to discover they no longer make anything close to the Hero. I was nervous about buying a used printer but desperate to have one similar to my Hero I purchased this one. I could not be happier with this printer. It uses the same ink cartridge as the Hero, which I had ten of. I do a lot of photography so I buy ink in bulk. Shipping was fast and the printer arrived in pristine condition.
Verified purchase: Yes | Condition: Pre-owned
The printer I replaced was a HP Officejet 7410. I like this little Kodak better. It has most of the features that my expensive HP had, and easy to setup and use. It was simple to setup a wireless connection, that has worked without exception. You can print straight from your Iphone with this printer (and the appropriate app). This is an inexpensive printer that does what it is supposed to do. It's a great value.
Set up was easy. I set up 3 computers to print wirelessly through our router. I can even print from our driveway outside. Ink cartridges are the same price everywhere and Not Refillable. We change them pretty frequently. I don't think we get as many copies as the Ink Package indicates. Not seeing any savings on Ink Costs.
I used this printer for a short time and I do a lot of photo printing , and when I originally bought it, I didn't realize that it didn't have 2 seperate trays, one for printing photos and ond one for text printing, which means you have to remove the text paper and insert photo paper in it's place. The printer itself is excellent, but I preferred a printer with 2 seperate trays, which led me to buy the hero 9.1.
