Good Camera, it's easy to use and has crisp clear photos. It's easy to read and use the features and not a lot of buttons/extras to confuse you. It sometimes gets trouble with the lens area, my old one froze and wouldn't open, but I liked it so much I got another one anyway. They're pretty good little cameras, I use mine a lot.

I was not impressed with this camera and I have owned several Kodak. I took a photo with my old Canon, and the same photo with this C195. Both are sitting at 14MP and the difference in color was highly noticeable and image more crisp with the Canon. I'm not here to argue that Canon is a better product. I was looking to upgrade my camera and get better color, this C195 just cannot capture the color like some of the older EasyShare that I have owned. I wasted money here.

FIRST, I NEEDED A CAMERA THAT HAD AN EASY TO SEE DISPLAY AS MY OLDER 'CARRY ABOUT' CAMERA WAS DIFFICULT TO SEE IN DIRECT SUN. THIS CAMERA FAR EXCEEDED MY NEEDS. NOT ONLY IS IT LARGE ENOUGH TO SEE WHAT YOU ARE SHOOTING, BUT HAS A FEATURE WHEN THE SHUTTER IS DEPRESSED SLIGHTLY FOCUSES AND LOCKS ON TO YOUR SUBJECT. THE CLOSE UP RANGE IS ACCEPTABLE, ENABLING SHOTS AS CLOSE AS NINE INCHES, NOT A MICRO, BUT USABLE FOR CLOSE SHOTS TO USE ON EBAY TO SHOW DETAIL. THE UNIT ALLOWS FOR DIFFERENT MB RANGES ALLOWING SOME SHOTS TO BE ENLARGED WITH GOOD DETAIL AND A FAIR AMOUNT OF PIXELS. AGAIN, DON'T EXPECT STUDIO DETAIL AS IN HIGH END CAMERAS, BUT IT HAS A FAR GREATER SHOT CAPABILITY THAN CAMERAS MADE 5 YEARS AGO. THE SOFTWARE WAS VERY EASY TO USE AND DOWNLOADED TO WIN 7 WITHOUT ANY GLITCHES...THE ONLY DRAWBACK, AS IN ALMOST ALL LOWER PRICED CAMERAS WAS THE VERY SMALL [MB] MEMORY INSTALLED, SO PREPARE TO BUY A LARGER 16GB TO 64GB CARD, WHICH BY THE WAY WILL ENABLE YOU TO SHOOT SOME VERY DECENT VIDEO OF SOME LENGTH...THE INCLUDED FLASH AND OTHER PHOTO SHOOT FEATURES ARE EASILY ACCESSED AND SIMPLE TO USE. IT WON'T TAKE TIME TO LEARN LIKE MY DIGITAL SLR CAMERAS, BUT THEN AGAIN I'M NOT USING THIS FOR COVER SHOTS OR PHOTO LAYOUTS...I ONLY PAID $56 FOR MINE, [RETAIL WAS $99 @ THE TIME] THE PRICE OF A GOOD STEAK DINNER...YOU WILL ENJOY THE CAMERA A LOT LONGER.Read full review
Takes great quality pictures for the money. I like the size and the controls, etc. It's easy to understand and to use. Much nicer than the Kodak D3500 camera we had. The camera is noisy though. I'm told it's just the lens mechanism and it's harmeless. Just a bit of a nuisance.
This is my first digital camera. I have to admit that I really like it. The camera takes excellent pics. You can easily set the resolution from 3MP to 14MP. My friends have told me about the good picture quality. Since I haven't used another digicam before, I can't really compare it to others. The camera came with new AA batteries and I have used it at least 5-6 times and the batteries are still running. So I guess it is energy efficient also. There are only a couple of things I don't like about this camera. The buttons are very small and that can be a bit inconvenient sometimes. Also there are modes which are very sensitive to movements. For example in the night mode, even a slight shaking can significantly blur the pic. Also it is difficult to get good pics of fast moving objects. But those concerns aside, I love my camera. I would surely recommend it for all normal uses...:)Read full review
