Though these skeins were MUCH smaller than I had anticipated, each can make one granny square, and there were a wonderful assortment of colors. So, not quite as great a deal as I had thought, but still definitely not bad. It will make a very colorful child-sized afghan. If you want a full sized afghan or blanket, you should get 2 or 3. Occasionally came across a skein that wasn't quite long enough and had to go back and tighten my stitches to complete the square, but most skeins had a little left over.

The color assortment was great, but the size of the skein really doesn't allow for more than a cap or mittens for a newborn. These should really be described as "bonbons" and not the usual balls or skeins. Because of this, I consider the pics and post somewhat misleading. For the price charged, you could purchase five to six full-size skeins at WalMart or another retailer. If you're seeking a color assortment of yarn for small, almost mini-projects (definitely nothing bigger than sock or bib), then you'll enjoy this purchase.

These skeins are VERY SMALL. They are going to be great for making a colorful granny square afghan. Great vibrant colors. Pretty soft. To compare size to an object, I’d say about half the size of an empty toilet paper roll. I think it’s a little expensive for the amount of yarn you get.

I am still waiting on one of my packages. The smaller of two,it was 15 dollars. Was told it would be here by Feb 3rd, not here. I ordered it like the end of Nov. I got the bigger package right away but am still waiting on the other. So far not impressed with shipping. Will not order anymore.

Mini Skeins should be in the description. I go by pictures and had no idea that they even made a 2 inch skein. They are good quality and easy to work with.
