I have 3 Klymit Products. A Static V, an Inertia X-Lite, and now this Static V Lite. All three are quality products. Depending on the temperature, I use the appropriate mattress. I used this one two days ago on an overnight hike on the Appalachian Trail. The temperature dropped to 19 degrees F and I was warm. I did put a closed cell pad under to block the moisture. This combination would have allowed me comfort in a much lower temperature. Very satisfied. Go for it! At this price, nothing is better!

This mattress is very compact in your backpack and it seems comfortable with air in it. My old backpacking mattress was self inflating, but this one you have to blow up like a beach ball. It's not hard to inflate and it has more cushion than my self inflating one. It's still new, so I don't know how durable it is, but it seems to be a well made product.

This a light and compact sleeping pad that is actually pretty comfortable. To put it into perspective, my son and I are going backpacking in the mountains of New Mexico this summer. It is very important to have a working pad that will not take up a lot of space and add a lot of extra weight. This pad easily satisfies all of those needs and it comes with its own repair kit. It’s worth the money to invest in the separate pump/bag to keep from forcing in lung moisture. Highly recommended mid-grade, mid-cost equipment.

I have a sprinter camper van who’s back couch folds down to a bed. But because of all the sections it is lumpy when you try and sleep on it. So with this, I lay it over the couch and it makes it much softer and smoother. Folds up nice and small, a big plus. Nice quality. Hope the valve holds up.

Parka, get your mind out of the gutter. This is not a self inflating mat (I thought it was)but inflates easily. If you need to save space this is it. It weighs next to nothing, and does not hang out of the pack. Only issue I have is it is a little hard to roll back up to fit neatly into the sack it comes with.
