This Keurig K575 works well, as expected, and has experienced no problems since it arrived. It is very similar to my daughter's K400 and seems to work almost identically, but has a slightly larger water reservoir and LED screen size.

I bought the K575 (from Newegg) because of the "Instant Hot Water" feature so I could replace my aging Zojurushi hot-water pot for cooking ramen. Well, probably due to potential liability and lawyers, the so-called "Hot Water" isn't even hot enough to burn your finger - I can swipe my finger through it just fine and hold it there for up to a second and only think, "well thats a bit hot....." instead of "OW FFFF MY FINGER!!!". Yes, this is with the 'Temperature' setting maxed out on '5 bars - High' and also 'High-Altitude' mode on in FLorida (6 feet above sea level). I checked it with my HVAC digital thermometer direct under the stream, and the water temp starts at 124degF and maxes out at 179.4degF (81.9degC for those of you who are from countries that have not been to the Moon) during a 12oz Hot Water dispense cycle. The majority of it is a steady raise from 124F to 155F, with the last sputters (1-3 seconds) of the cycle giving it that extra ~20degF boost. Unfortunately, my thermometer does not have an avg temp selector to see what the overall temp of the liquid coming out is, and I didn't check to see what the actual temp of the water in mug (after it transfers heat to a cold mug) is that would reach your lips. So if you are buying this to _cook_ your Ramen In-A-Cup's, don't expect too much and become disappointed - only expect 1min 1000Wmicrowave-tier noodles. The Water Reservoir leaves a bit to be desired, they claim it comes out to 80 ounces (~2.4L), but it really doesn't seem like it. Perhaps this is because my old HWP was almost twice the size, i.e. half as many refills. "Instant Hot Water" is a bit over the top. It takes the brewer a good 20-40 seconds from a cold (unplugged overnight) start to finish its 'Preheat' cycle, and has to preheat about half as long again after each 12oz dispensed (when pertaining to Ramen bowls), regardless of whether on 'High-Altitude' or not. However, it is bearable because that is about how long it takes to shake the morning blues and really awake. My second complaint is the Drip Pan: While the top is made of nice sturdy 14-16ga matte Stainless and (I want to say, fiberglass-reinforced) thick polymer, it doesn't truly lock into the brewer at all. Its as if the hooks to secure it are too short, or the feet on the bottom of the machine are not tall enough. So it just kinda slides around as you move your mug. However, it does stay put when you lift the brewer to move it, and makes changing positions with a Keurig Carafe easy as cake. I suppose it will suffice, and it is a nice machine that was factory packaged extremely well (Store-packaging inside a factory Keurig cardboard distribution shipping box; machine is held in place with pressed paper-mache supports inside store-package) and arrives spotless. But is it a 'Be-all, End-all' all-in-one appliance? I'll leave that to you to decide for yourself. Truly, its a 4/5 star machine, but no one will find my post in the thousands of reviews there.Read full review

Had trouble with machine starting right away. Every time you use a cappuccino pod you won't get a full cup you have to stop and clean with the water blub and pump the handle up and down 5 or 6 times. Have the same trouble with any pod of regular coffee. Wasting money on pods, plus a waste of my time. Company is sending another machine out, but all this takes time and is a pain. Would like the machine to work 100% right away. Don't care for the noise the machine makes when trying to make a cup of coffee. Old machine was much quieter. I believe there are some flaws yet in this new machine. Hope they can work them out.

Ordered the new Keurig Hot coffee machine, wanted the flexibility of brew strength and cup size so I went with the 575 plus. I love how easy it is to set and use, now I can have tea or coffee ready brewed when my alarm clock goes off. I did some reusable k-cups from another company and they work great as well. My supermarket has a large selection of coffee and tea blends available for the 2.0 series of machines. Althou it is a little noisy while brewing its not a problem at all, I would highly recommend this machine to any one wanting a nice hot beverage anytime of day or night

Have had a prior model before. Upgraded to this one, love the options on cup sizes and temperature settings, easy to use, only problem I see is that you have to purchase to carafe separately along with the reusable filter. The filter I highly recommend it's so much more cost effective being able to use your own coffee. Anyone who has a keurig or is new to them. You will love it
