For ultimate sound quality, this unit is hard to beat. Supports HD radio, .flac files, SD cards (Kenwood documentation says 32Gb max, but I am able to use 128Gb cards formatted FAT32).More sound shaping options than you can throw a stick at, and you can tailor the sound to pretty much any vehicle/environment. The menu system is a bit odd. It doesn't list folders alphabetically. When you copy groups of folders to the card, they'll be listed alphabetically. When you copy a second set of folders to the card, they show up in alphabetical sequence, after the first set of folders. First world problem, but it's annoying and I presume a fairly simple software fix. The screen resolution isn't very high. It's the same resolution as the unit with the smaller display (DNX-692). Next time, I'd opt for the unit with the smaller display, which gives you a volume knob as well. Lots of connectivity, with great sound quality. I can't comment about the internal amplifier, as I had outputs to external amps for all channels. A few software tweaks and a higher resolution screen would make this head unit perfect.Read full review

I replaced the DNX772 with the DNX892 and what a difference! Front and rear camera input, Ipod and USB inputs, screen mirroring. Love it!
