after nearly three years of weekends (200+ nights), our old kelty acadia 4's zippers had finally given up. still usable, but the amount of times we had to re-zip to get rid of the gap was becoming unmanageable. the base of this tent never leaked a bit, even during arizona's monsoon rains, with wind and sideways rain. when we looked to replace our old tent, the things we liked about the acadia 4 were the ease in putting up (one person can set up), the footprint easily fits in the tent pad of most campgrounds, it fits a queen size air mattress with room to spare, and we got used to the two-door, two-vestibule design. we now can't imagine life without that feature. we also like that the poles don't have to fit in a sleeve - this makes setup a breeze without the possibility that the poles might come unconnected mid-sleeve. the clips make it super easy. we have the kelty-made footprint - buy it in addition to this tent and it'll last longer.Read full review

Great tent--very easy to put together, and a great size. Fits 2-3 normal sized people, but my friends are all 5'2 to 5'6, and the five people on my spring break trip can snuggle in just fine. Arrived promptly and packaged well.
