Because the base of the magazine is not flush with the pistol's grip, the steel of the magazine housing is visible. I had to order an extension from Kahr Arms in order to avoid ruining the appearance of piece.

Lots of weekend warriors in web land. Will tell you that 1911 mags will fit and function in their Kahr with some mods. Tried 3 different makes of 1911 mags, Trying to save money. Spent 50 bucks. Got one mag out of the 3 to function reliably, and it won't hold the slide open after the last shot. Decided to spend the money for the Khar mag....they are expensive for a magazine. Can buy 1911 mags all day from 10 to 18 dollars, good quality...so hated the high price. Should have went with Kahr from the beginning. Fits, functions, every time. No failures. Don't spend 50 or 60 bucks trying to avoid buying an expensive mag. Just go ahead and get OEM. Get this mag.

They're nice magazines, however I didn't realize that they were a little longer than my handle and so they stick out the bottom. Not too much and it's nice to have the extra round available.

OEM Kahr Magazine for CT45. Functions flawlessly. Keep Kahr mags lightly surface oiled with wipes, as Kahr mags often fit snug. No hassles with original OEM Kahr magazines, and noone makes after market mags for Kahr anyway. Expensive, but good.
