It is an excellent, inexpensive folding knife. I have had one for over thirty years and the blade takes holds a razor - sharp edge (which I test by shaving my forearm) . The composition body has lasted with no signs of damage or significant wear. That is why I just bought three more, since I like to have one for each set of pants. My favorite knife has always been the Gerber Harsey Air-Ranger, but they no longer make them the way they used to. I needed a couple of spare knives in case I lose one (I am an old man and such things happen). My one Ka-Bar Dozier has held its own with the Gerber knives, so it was the natural to buy now since the Gerber knife was no longer what I like.

I really like the design of this knife. It is lightweight and easy to sharpen. The only downside of this knife is it is very hard to open with one hand. I think it would have performed much better with a bearing or bushing at the blade pivot. maybe it will get better with use, but I have tried various oil and lubes but it is still stiff.

Probably the best bang for your buck in a $20 or less pocket knife. Attractive folder with Acceptable blade steel in aus8 which is a Japanese steel. you could do alot worse so +1 feature at the price point w Decent edge retention for the money. You can find $50 folders that use aus8. its not supersteel but not bad at all. I prefer it over 8cr13mov or 440a or 420j. Reversible pocket clip and thumb stud for lefties . Tip up with a Strong lockback design. Watch some lock destruction tests on YouTube. lockbacks are one of the strongest. Easy one hand open and closing. Teflon washers but has a good action thats smooth and not gritty. Easily flicks open with the grippy thumbstud. Super lightweight package at only 2.4oz as well as slim and very pocket carry friendly. Decent grip on sturdy frn/gfn scales with diamond plate like texture pattern. Nice slim design with rounded off edges. Available in 2 different sizes althou i recommend the full size 3" blade. 3 different blade profiles including a clip point, spearpoint style, and a version with an oval thumbhole instead of the thumb stud. lots of handle colors! black, blue, zombie green, foliage green, orange, and a brown or tan, maybe even more! Satin or black blades and a sturdy and stealthy black pocket clip. Super sharp hollow grind, easy to sharpen and get hair popping sharp. Good size usable 3" blade with jimping on the full size dozier. Made in Taiwan not china so quality is decent. Plenty of $50-70 folders made in taiwan also. Overall its hard to beat in the sub $20 folder market. I bet if kabar came out with an upscale version for say $30 with a more premium steel like d2 or vg10 it would be a hot seller also. Not that theres anything wrong w aus8 it just needs sharpened a little more often than those. I recommend this one so Get it you wont be disappointed! Its a quality folder for ultra budget money, $18-20 shipped!Read full review

This is the best pocket knife for under $20 there is. Good pocket clip that is left or right side tip up only. Lanyard hole, decent jimping on blade, thumb stud and comes in a variety of colors. Great knife!

The blade is thick and designed well, the blade was sharp , when i got it ran a steal on both sides of the blade , it took the burr off, the belt clip could be a bit wider, but works well enough for the money. The handle is sturdy and well designed, all in all its worth the money , i paid $20 plus free shipping, cant complain, if taken care of not not abusing and using it for what it wasnt designed for it will last you for years
