This is the third purchase of this item, over a year after I installed the 1st one. At our home I installed perimeter LED lighting. Since it was wired off the garage, we wanted to have an additional control inside the house, so these small remotes make the wiring for a 3-way switch unnecessary. Since they are wired to a specific wall switch to control it, there is no problem with the remote turning on the wrong thing. I also toss the remote for the front yard in the car when going out . This way when we are coming back after dark, I can switch on my outside spots/floods from about 70ft away. Downside: the goofy translation into English, and the fact that the BLACK wires on the sending unit are NEUTRAL, meaning you have to wire them to the WHITE,(common), wires.

The wireless control works fine and the receiver is easy to install. Just one design flaw: If there is a power outage, the receiver goes automatically into the On mode when power comes back, even if the lights were turned Off before the outage. Looks like the receiver has a relay that is normally closed when power is Off. This means that if a property is not occupied for an extended timeframe, which is the case for vacation homes/condos, the light will came On and stay On for months till you come back and turn it off with the wireless control. The only solution is to remove the bulbs every time you leave the property unoccupied for extended time. There is no option for N/O (normally open relay) wiring.

Very good, Just wish it was UL approved. It is made by Toshiba and I hear a mechanical relay inside which is most likely UL listed. Bottom line is that it is safe in my opinion when installed in a fireproof enclosure. It turns on when powered up so be careful. I think they do this so you can operate the device with a regular light switch when not using the RF switch. The two black wires are tied together, so all you need to do is tie them to a neutral and you have an input and an output that goes to the light.

I had a difficult time finding a replacement remote light switch control for our overhead kitchen track-floodlights ... a series of 6 small halogen spotlights. The Kedsuma Wireless one-way installed easy (simple 110 Volt wiring is you are comfortable with electrical work). The unit fits into the old receptacle box with antennae sticking out. The controller is about 10 feet away. I switched out all of the lightbulbs to LED spotlights to drop the wattage ... but did not have to do this ... I just felt safer because of the small gauge wiring in the Kedsuma Wireless receiver unit.

wiring is strange but follow direction closely the two inside wires are your supply going in .Red and black the out side wires are to your item you are turning on and off. orange to black and black to white. my bath room fan works great so far thinks and much cheaper than a fan switch because if you get the dimmer crossed it will burn out your motor over time.
