This Kaze SE90TL2 Description is on the deceptive side. First, and the biggest (for me) is the advertised sones of .3. It is much louder than .3 I tried it with no ducting attached and with 4" insulated ducting attached and the sound level was the same.. I have a Panasonic fan in another bathroom rated at .3 sones and this Kaze is 4-5 times louder. Second, the installation is horrible compared to others on the market. most of which has to be done in the attic, and the duct w/ baffle that you attach falls off, so you have to secure it by your own methods if you want it to stay attached, and the baffle within it falls out easily (4 times before my install was done). Third is light produced. It does not generate enough light on it's own to light up a bathroom well so you'd better have another light in the room available, And fourth is curb appeal. When the light is not on, the lens cover has a purple hue to it, and when the light is on one corner of the lens has something inside blocking the light transmission. Maybe wiring bunched up inside??? On the positive side, the fan does work and it is less expensive than name brand fans that have these problems figured out. You decideRead full review
