The Great Book of Hemp is an accurate telling of the history of the most valuable and useful plant on earth - Cannabis Sativa - and how modern American corporate pirates in cahoots with the Federal government have been trying to kill it off for profit since the 1930's. I urge anyone who wants to know the truth about Cannabis to read this book. From George Bush's parachute that saved his life in WWII, all the way back to Jesus Christ who used the Holy Anointing Oil from the Temple Alter (Exodus 30:23) to heal the sick, Cannabis Sativa has been intimately involved in human life. This most blessed plant has properties that one might think are fictional unless one did the research to find the truth. Here are a few: ~Cannabis hemp fiber does not rot or mildew and blocks UV radiation. ~Henry Ford's original idea and invention was a car made from nature and powered by nature. It was only because of the steel and oil barons Carnegie and Rockefeller that cars have been made of steel and ran on gasoline all these years. ~It was the evil genius, William Randolph Hearst, who demonized Cannabis by naming it 'Marijuana', guilting the Hispanic culture at the same time, spread lies and fear throughout the country via his many newspapers...all to protect his timber industry, since a machine had been invented to make Cannabis hemp stalks a viable raw material source for paper. Hearst and folks like the DuPonts and the Carnegies and the Rockefellers, along with the U.S. Government, saw to it that in 1937, Cannabis was so heavily taxed that it was not a feasable raw material, only for economic reasons. With Cannabis hemp out of the way, the industrialists could proceed to synthesize products to do what Cannabis can do better, faster, more cost-effectively, with less negative impact on the earth. ~In 1942, during WWII, when Manila was occupied by the Japanese, the US Government produced a film called 'Hemp for Victory', encouraging and teaching the virtues and multiple uses of Cannabis hemp. ~In 2000, a tumor was implanted in a rat's brain. THC, the psychoactive component of Cannabis, was later injected into the rat's tumor. The tumor dissolved. Needless to say, the pharmaceutical/medical/hospital/insurance industries would lose great deals of money if this were made legal. ~There is so much more, seek for yourself. Seeing is believing and knowledge is power. And Genesis 1:29-31 says that the Creator put all seed bearing herbs here for our meat and for our use. Hempseeds contain great amounts of protein and most all the essential fatty acids - the Omegas - that everyone is talking about. As for topical use, the oil is the greatest anti-inflammatory in nature. The world's economy was based on hemp before the 1930's when the old hemp economy was destroyed by elite to control human health, destroy the environment and profit from consumables made with plastics, petroleum, pHARMaceuticals, etc. The good news is the hemp is make a comeback and we ought to use hemp products for food, consumables, medicines, industries and more.
