Have been in business for over 30 years and always have used Jukis. Straight Stitch,ZigZag, overlocks, walking foot etc..............never have been disappointed with the Jukis manufactured in Japan. The Jukis manufactured in China are not of good quality like the 8500 and 8700 straight stitch. Always purchase the Jukis manufactured in Japan. I have couple which I have had 35 years. Must be tuned, oiled and adjusted every so often. The cost is anywhere from 75 to 150 dollars per machine, will last you for ever. I own 12 of them. Retired the 2 from China 8700's. Not the same quality. Put them in a shed. Before purchasing, always acquire from a pro, seek information on your purchase before forking out your $. I wish I would of done that before purchasing the 8500 and 8700. I purchased the 5500's and am very happy with those.Read full review

Assembly instructions(that i recived) are terrible, poor, almost non existing and probably written for the people that do not need them in the first place. So if you don't have alot of sewing or assembly experience it may be challenging or nerve wrecking.
