We purchased another brand ,but when it came it didn't have am radio and no remote, so we returned it. We wanted a system that had cassette,Am,FM radio,CD player with remote This one has more than what I wanted. The remote is a great feature and takes care of all the functions of the stereo.(When researching some remotes only controlled the CD) The sound is good and we can pick up a lot more radio stations then our previous stereo. The stereo is compact and it works out great on our kitchen counter. I would recommend this system.

I ordered a second one of these here, because the first one the Power Circuits failed when on AC power after less than a year of use. Had it longer than a year, but did not use it very often, so much less than a year of actual use. Still worked on 8 Batteries, but only ran about 30 seconds on AC before automatically shutting off. I did not like the fact that any preset station memory functions get erased every time you loose power, so if you unplug it or power dips, you loose the station you are on and have to research for it. Defeats the purpose of station memory if it gets lost every time you unplug to move to new location and have to reprogram channels again each time. Should have had an internal battery to keep memory or Electronically programmable Chips to store the memory so not lost with power. Still like the rest of the features, and as I said, I ordered a replacement for the earlier version that only works on batteries, but no longer runs on AC. I originally purchased because of the Jensen Name, but guessing Jensen farmed this out to someone else to manufacture, as it does not seem to be up to the Jensen Quality I remember from years ago. Still a nice unit with some nice features and for the price I got both for, not all that bad, but wanted better quality than I received. A bit of Old School (Audio Cassette Player) and New School (CD Player) with radio, but seems cheaply made even for the price I paid. Was having trouble finding others of this model to buy for parts here, so may be others are having more success with theirs than I did since do not see those for parts being sold here. Sound and "functionality" good. The fact that the speakers come off I love for teaching dance to kids. Bluethooth feature a plus. It is a little "boxy", not round and modern. I put it in my daughters old tai quon do bag, padded it a bit. Brought it to a German festival, in the rain, and it was fine. A bit heavy for a woman, but my husband carried it for me. 😊

This is a nice compact stereo system with decent sound - especially for the $. Haven't had a chance to use all the features yet but listen to CD's while riding my exercise bike. Very happy with purchase.

I will need to see how it stands the test of time before rating its durabiiity. Quality of construction is better than other equipment i've seen in this price range, although buttons are difficult to use. The sound is surprisingly good, the FM reception is stronger than expected, and the mechanisms for both the CD and the tape player are again, better than others I've tried in this price range. I've been disappointed in other units I've tried, but this looks to be a cut above.
