interesting, a bit frantic--I actually prefer his old show "the naked chef" the emphasis was on food and the technique--this is more like an entertainment show with Jamie doing a version of slapstick and canned laughter from the audience. Think Emeril with a touch of that Cajun cook who said "I guar--an-teeee" all the time--it was a bit weary and the food (pizza) was pretty pedestrian. it was a show not a DVD for foodies or anyone who takes food seriously. I guess this is the way of the new kind of chef...I probably will try to make my way through this--but no more of the new stuff--it is a bit hammy--and I thought he would continue like he did with his old shows. Come back Jamie--don't let the industry pimp your talent and make you a comic when you are/were a serious chef. Not to mention as an American (but born in England), the brit brand of humor was a bit dry and lost on me.Read full review
I think it is amazing that Jamie did a live show like this, fun and interesting. Full of passionate while he is cooking live! The only thing I don't like that it seems a very long show.
Awesome!!!
