Since I am somewhat of a Jeff Foxworthy fan, I decided to read this book. It is autobiographical in the sense that he writes about all of the embarrassing things that happened to him in his life. Stuff that the average person would prefer to bury rather than put in print! Being a comedian, he can find the funny side in any situation and help us laugh at ourselves. I found it a bit crude in that, a guy would definitely enjoy this humor, somewhat lost on the female. If you are looking for more of the "You might be a redneck if.." stuff, there isn't much here but, he has other books that cover that subject on the market.
I might be a closet redneck...I'm not sure. I really enjoyed this book written in autobiographical style where Jeff shares the good...the bad..and the ugly scenes of his past with the reader. It would be hard to read this book and stay in a bad mood because it is a really funny book by a really funny man.
If you like Jeff Foxworthy, you'll love this book. I read it years ago and just had to read it again after watching all of the Blue Collar movies. A very easy read, also good to read after a bad day at work to lighten your mood! I would recomend this to anyone who likes Jeff. Who doesn't?
When reading a book causes me to laugh out loud, I know it's a winner! Jeff Foxworth has that ability. This is written in a memoir style; it's not just a list of "You might be a Redneck if . . ."
