I was a little disappointed because the story didn't continue on in the next book. Same people just a huge span of time had elapsed. But other than that the story was good, took a little patience to get into, but that happens when you don't know the characters. Overall I would say I enjoyed it, not Janet's funniest work, but an easy read.I was looking forward to the follow up story about these characters in the next book, but was definately disappointed. You never see them again, for quite some time in the series. I probably won't read it again but it passed the time.
Full House by Janet Evanovich is a fun and easy read. I loved it. Two months ago I came across the Stephanie Plum Series, read them all 1-13 and also the ones in-between. Now I’m onto Evanovich’s Romance Novels. I love them all so far. Full House is fun and people in real life do get married after a very short time after meeting. All the other stuff happening around these people really makes life seem so real. My life is crazy, why shouldn’t it be that way in a book. If you have not read Full House yet, you should do it.
I bought this series because I'd read all of the Stephanie Plum series and enjoyed them so much that I bought Metro Girl and Motor Mouth...enjoyed them so just figured I'd enjoy anything from this author which so far has been what's happened. Now this series is a bit different. There is a more serious tone to these stories. Don't misunderstand me they're not all seriousness...not by a long shot! These authors together make an awesome team and are able to inject just the right amount of hilariousness into the serious parts. You have to buy these books! No doubt about it you'll definitely enjoy them. If you've never read Janet Evanovich before, get started with these books....you won't be disappointed and will most definitely buy more from this author!
This is another excellent Evanovich effort. Full House begins a series of Romance and adventure stories that are very entertaining. It is an excellent read that makes you want to stay up late to finish it. I realize Charlotte Hughes gets to take some of the credit, but it is typical of Janet Evanovich. The characters in Full House are fun and regular people. If you like Evanovich, you will really enjoy the entire series.
Billie Pierce, a divorced mother, decides to take polo lessons, as a self-improvement project, even though she's never ridden or even been around horses before. Her mentor, Wealthy newspaper owner and horseman, Nick Kaharchek, falls in love with her helplessness, and is drawn into her crazy life, and her nutsy cousin, Deedee, a self-absorbed bimbo, a bomb-setting teenage nephew, and her own children. This is a series of slapstick comedy with a cast of wacky, loveable, eccentric characters. I wasn't terribly impressed with this book, but this contemporary romance sets the stage for the rest of the series, which improves as it goes along.
