I do love this game. But on a scale of 1-10, this game wouldn't be a perfect 10, however. I would rate it 8.5. The only reason why I gave it 5 stars is because I do love the Jackie Chan Adventures show very much, and this game does deserves 5 stars out of 5, if not 10 out of 10. My main disappointment is that so far of today (1/24/09) in my game, Jackie Chan is the only character that can be played, and the levels are mainly about him (you) fighting bad guys coming his (your) way. Throughout the levels, he has to find a scroll in each level, and each one he finds will teach him a new fighting move. I quite love the moves, for they almost made me feel like I was truly Jackie Chan!!^o^ One thing that's disappointing is that whenever Jackie gets to the boss of each level, he/she's quite hard to beat, and if he dies and has no more lives, he has to start over at the beginning of the level, fighting all the bad guys again to reach the boss. And there are many bad guys to fight, and it takes a long time (about 5-10+ minutes, depending how good you are as Jackie) to fight them all. It's too bad that there aren't some certain places in the levels that you can start fresh from, and not the very beginning. And it was quite hard to know how to use the available fight techniques when I didn't have the manual, so in the beginning, I had to learn on my own how the game works. But, I could always check on the internet for cheats and everything, so it's quite all right! But I was kind of sad that it's mostly about (so far) Jackie fighting the same kind of people in each level, and there's no puzzles or riddles or magical items or anything. I was hoping the game would be like the plot in the JCA (J.C. Adventures) series, which it does, but Jade and Uncle and Tohru aren't playable characters. Overall, this game is fun, if you really enjoy fighting as Jackie Chan, and fighting bad guys over and over again. I don't think this is one of the more famous Gameboy games, and I think it's rare to find this game on eBay. But I luckily found it at a reasonable price, and the seller was considerate and kind enough to listen to my requests. So, if you're a Jackie Chan Adventures fan, this is a great enough game to play!!^_^Read full review
Being that this cartoon has a game on gba is awesome. The controls are mostly workable and it's fun flying around as Jackie Chan. Sometimes it can be difficult getting stuck in places but overall a good effort.
