Got it about an hour ago. Had a Logitech illuminated keyboard and it lasted a long time but the keys were getting hard to press. I like the feel of this unit. The letters are large and there are 3 settings for brightness. Just typed a Word doc and I like it already. Nice feel to the keys. I found that the Logitech was like a laptop and you did not have to press hard to make them work. These have more travel and I will make less mistakes. I like it! The only negative is a small one. The old keyboard had the mute and volume buttons on the top right and these Hot Keys are where they are now so you have to press the Fn key at the same time. No big deal and I will get used to it. For the money this is a good deal.

Although touted as "Bold" and "Easy to see," that is only for A through Z. And only if you are looking pretty much straight down. The Function and Control (Backspace, shift, PG UP, etc) keys have tiny letters. The Function Keys F1-F2-Etc have other text and symbols making them nearly illegible. Again, thinking LOW VISIBILITY. People with less than perfect eyesight. The other major issue is the physical keyboard design. Ergonomics. There's almost no tactile relief between the keys themselves. I'm used to feeling for the gap between keys and a dip in the center, here there is none. And there is nearly zero height to the keys. Normally keys along the bottom and top are slightly higher than the middle to prevent metatarsal and wrist strain. Even a standard Dell keyboard has a little wave to the key surface. Look at your keyboard from the side. This thing is quite flat, and my fingers and wrist feel a strain to use the ALT, CTRL, SHIFT, and Function keys. On the positive, this is my first illuminated keyboard. Since I like using my home computer in the dark, I know I'm on the right track. In my opinion, and I've been in Tech since the late 1980's, this keyboard is a failure.Read full review

Pros: - Keys are properly spaced and very responsive. It's a pleasure to type on. - Lighted keys are great. I don't need to turn on the lights any more just to whip out a quick email. - Light blue coloration is pleasing to the eye. Cons: - Windows key is on the right side. Not a huge deal but takes getting used to.

This keyboard was a gift for my Dad who has beginning stages of Parkinson's. I'm hoping the large keys and text will make it easier for him to find and press the keys with his hand tremors. He also has bad eyesight and the LED feature will come in handy as well and has 3 or 4 options of changing the brightness of the LED lights including an option of not using them at all if it is bothersome.

This is the 2nd one I have owned... They are great keyboards and I am happy with layout and easy clicking of keys.. The lighting has nice feature and can be turned off but after months of use the lights do lose some of their brightness when on high.. Not really bad but noticeable. After couple of use my original one started to become very hard to activate the most common keys.. I have arthritic fingers so needed to obtain another identical keyboard. So yes I like it enough to purchase again.. Just want people to be aware of its down side which is minor in my opinion.. My keyboard gets heavy hard use as I am retired and often at home... They arrive at home well packaged and timely.. Enjoy...
