Big improvement from the E5200 2.5GHz my 2009 Dell originally shipped with. Busy web pages loaded slowly and Netflix would stutter if I did ANYTHING while streaming HD. Now I can have Netflix full screen on one monitor and sling player feeding Dish Network in a window on my other monitor -while- loading web pages with zero problems. Didn't expect to see this kind of difference. Was considering purchasing a new computer but now I have no reason to. I don't know if anybody cares about the "Windows Experience" thing in Windows 7, but I did a before and after and the Processor and Memory both went from 5.9 to 6.6 whatever that means.

I bought this to replace a tired 1.8ghz core 2 duo. I was limited by the 800mhz front side bus, but this cpu has been a real contender. It sees daily use from simple browsing to medium gaming. The is a great midrange cpu and a nice upgrade if you are on the socket 775 platform or want to build a light gaming rig on a budget.
OK!
