It is always nice to have more than one Bird Identification Book. Sometimes just a different view or description can make all the difference in Identifying a Species. This could be a good starter book or secondary book. The book only contains 200 Species common in North America with a total of 128 pages so you should not expect it to be as comprehensive as some nicer and larger Field Guides that usually concentrate on one region of the States. I would not want to solely rely on this book. Altogether it still has good pictures, descriptions and information for anyone interested in Birding. I am pleased to add this book to my collection.
Very basic identifications with limited numbers of birds. Okay for beginers, but l was expecting a more comprehensive listing of songbirds.
