    Shipping was decent, the unit has large numbers which is good. 2 things, the first is the response time on the unit is not as fast as others. I’ll dial in something and move the table and the digital readout takes a second to display correctly. It’s nothing that can’t be dealt with. Secondly, it would be nice if they supplied nuts to go with the mounting screws for the base. Again, not a deal breaker, but it would have been nice. Overall, the unit is well made, compact and just what I needed.

    Great for the Price, but.....

    Good, inexpensive choice for small Lathes (<12" swings), Drill Presses, Surface Grinders, etc. Is this like a "Glass Scale RDO"? NO. But, in all fairness this doesn't have the cost of a Glass scale RDO either. It's got one quirk. The little clamp that holds the connector in place on the Read-out is there for a reason. A loose connection is responsible for a climbing/escalating reading for no known reason. TBut, in all fairness this doesn't have the cost of a Glass scale RDO either, and he scales can be cut to length (great). The Read-out mounting is a Plastic arm ~8" in length. If you attach / stack 3 read-outs (they can be "nested" on top of each other) the mass plus that 8" moment arm may "jiggle" a bit. The biggest challenge will be the Mounting of the scales. But, honestly, ...

    good for the money

    I bought three units for my mill. Two work ok, one is intermittent and adds an extra half inch every time I swipe it back and forth. The company I bought it from sent me a return label for an exchange, I hope the replacement is ok. The two I kept are ok, but can be off by a thousandth sometimes when testing it by swiping the read head over a few inches and then back to the end of the track. Good enough for the price. The buttons don't always register pressing them, but a precise and firm push works. Good for the money, but bummed I got a bad unit.

    Nice upgrade

    I upgraded an old Smithy 3in1 to DRO, using these Igaging DRO's, one for each axis. It turned this mediocre setup into a much more precise machine!

    Good Quality, good price

    I am very happy with it. easy to install and works well. The best part is that the display is big enough to see from a distance and it has a magnetic back so I can put it where it works best for what I am doing.
