I've played guitar for years, and have several "steel stringed" guitars.. Problem is I allowed my fingers to "get soft". Well I decided to try a nylon stringed guitar and after reading a number of reviews decided on this Ibanez. It's a nicely sized guitar, not too large, not too small, nor is it too thick or thin for my taste. It comes with a good set of strings, D'addario I believe. They have a nice sound, and unamplified it has more than enough volume for me to practice with. The neck is similar in width to the standard "electric" guitar, but the fretboard is flat as is standard with classical guitars. The electronics are quite nice. It has a built in "tuner" so you don't have to worry whether you are in tune with fellow guitarists. Amplified, the guitar has a very mellow sound, and there are adjustments that can be made with the on board electronics. I've not had the guitar long, but I will admit, I do enjoy it. It's fun to play, sounds very good and looks nice when it's on it's stand. (which isn't often)Read full review
