I liked this movie that brings two people together throughout the movie. It has a person guessing what will happen next until at the end. Walter is perfect for this movie

This was a most enjoyable little farce about a Princeton auto mechanic, Ed Walters (Tim Robbins), who meets the brilliant Catherine (Meg Ryan) and instantly falls in love with her. The problem is, he's just a mechanic who is obsessed with Popular Science Magazine, and she is a brilliant mathematician. The attraction goes both ways. Her uncle, Albert Einstein (Walter Matthau), and his three like minded associates devise a plan to make Ed look and sound like a genius with a plan for nuclear cold fusion, thus making him appear desirable to Catherine. All of a sudden Ed is thrust into the spotlight and his secret is threatened an he is about to be exposed. He is drowning in publicity and political attention for a theory he knows nothing about, all while struggling to win Catherine's heart. Matthau is both convincing and hilarious as Einstein. This is a witty script and the supporting players really make this a comic winner.Read full review
"I.Q." is a great Meg Ryan Romantic Comedy that's rarely seen on cable. Walter Matthau is utterly charming as "uncle" Albert Einstein. While following the standard Rom-com guidelines of Boy wants girl, boy gets girl, boy loses girl, boy gets girl, Meg Ryan, Tim Robbins, Walter Matthau and the other excellent supporting actors all elevate the plot near the top of it's genre. I'd say this movie is under-appreciated but will someday be recognized as the classic that it should be.
After watching this movie a long time ago, i wanted to watch it again. I was pleased to find it and enjoyed it just as much as the first time i watched. Fun and entertaining
