Beautiful computerized, easy to use machine--but you do need the manual when you are getting started. Love how it sews and all the stitch options--and made in Sweden. I've sewn for 60+ years and can only tell you the European made machines are super good, durable engineering values. I purchased the machine without the embroidery unit, am having difficulty finding one for it.

Not really happy with this machine. Bought it to be able to embroider larger designs than the limited 4 x 4 on the Rose. Can do up to 6 x 10 on the Designer SE. However, am unable to make it through an entire design without the upper thread breaking continuously. Have tried different threads, different thread positions on machine, different needles, re-threaded bobbins, and on and on with no success. Have tried all suggestions on Google. Not happy.

This is my second Husqvarna Viking SE/LE machine. I traded my first one for the Designer Diamond Deluxe but missed my SE/LE so much I wanted to replace it. I sew all the time and it's wonderful to have a really good machine ready for you to sew on without having to remove an item you have begun working on and don't want to go to the trouble of putting away when you will return shortly to pick up where you left off. This has been one of the best machines I've ever used in my sewing room. I have used various other machines but find the SE/LE is the work horse of all machines.
Sews regular sewing projects beautifully. It can make even an average sewer look good 🤗 It's embroidery capabilities are superb. Sews quickly and cleanly with great registration and accuracy. Very quiet and stable. It's USB capable and can accommodate a flash drive, floppy, or CD drive. Definitely worth the money. It's a quality product.

My wife's identical machine broke down. Repairs were going to cost more than I thought would fit the budget. I couldn't find one for repair parts - but I did find one about 5 years NEWER than ours. It had a feature not available when we bought our machine in 1999. The machine ran smoother and the cost was more like an upgrade than a replacement. I have bought about ten items on eBay. We even sold our class A motor home on eBay a few years ago. For those (like us) who like garage sales and bargain barn type shopping - this is the answer. We do it all from the comfort of our own home. No gas to buy - no traffic - no hassles. Love it.
