I really enjoyed Charla's first book on ageing gracefully. This book is very good for all body types. You can skip over certain sections if you don't have that specific problem, i.e. big butt, big chest, etc. I am over 60 and I think we all need some guidance on what is acceptable and/or looks good at any age. This is the age of casual dress and lots of women just don't look good...from their 20's on! Upon looking for updated information from Charla I discovered she had passed away from Cancer. What a shame for such a talented person.
I loved her book, How Not to Look Old, but this book was not very helpful. Let me sum it up for you - always wear Spanx and a dress no matter what you are doing or where you are going. Sorry, but I hate dresses most of the time and if it takes me going to the gym to get rid of the muffin top, then so be it. The photos of celebrities on the red carpet were ridiculous. 99% of us of do not dress like that even once a year.
I was looking for guidance as I am aging and my body is changing. I always like to look good and thought some of what I was picking was not the most flattering for me. This book helps you to weed out the stuff that is not the best for your figure and style. Excellent pictures and examples. A guide I keep in mind as I am replacing the "fat clothes" I have gotten rid of!
Very informative

I have read two books now by Charla Krupp and they are both interesting. I am not a fan of Michelle Obama and in this book the author praises Michelle Obama's style but overall the book is interesting.
