I originally bought the used paperback of this book a long time ago and I wore the book out. This one is hardback and I believe it should last a lot longer. I love the simplicity of the designs in the book and I'm building a bookcase featured in it for my sewing room. I own a ton of books! If you don't have fancy tools. If you don't have a ton of money for expensive woods and just need some basic furnishings. This is the book that will get you started. We went up to the bank yesterday and they had chairs that look like they came straight out of this book! I'll bet the bank paid over $100 each for each of those chairs though! If you learn some upholstery, the sofa and chairs will really come in handy.
