Above average for most of these "how to" type of books, it does have more detail than most, but it could really use more than it shows, and explains. It needs more verbage and pictures so you can really learn "how to" chop a top, instead of so much biographical rambling about the people that have been doing this for so many years. I want to gain the knowledge about the subject matter, not the person teaching me. Still any small or large bit of knowledge gained is great, and there is some to be gleaned from this one.
This book is full of great info for chopping tops. I have always wanted to try it, now I can with great confidence . I know it's not an easy job or task to profom, but with this book for guidance , it is or ses to be a breeze I would recommend this book to anyone wanting to chop a top. I do recomend they have some knowledge in that Field. Great bool

It's easy to read, simple facts with a lot of explaining photos, great book to start with. There are quite a lot of simple hints and tips that sure help you to chop the top and prevent mistakes to be discovered when the top is already off. Maybe a little "disturbing" are the photo pages that are put in between of continuos topic so after checking these you might have already forgotten what was the topic about..(that's about the only "bad" thing...)
Recipient is very pleased with this very interesting and informative book.

This book is a good place to start. It covers the basics on some of the more popular cars that people modify. The vehicle that I'm chopping is a little more complicated than what is in the book, but like I said, it is an excellent place to start. It has helped me, and I would recommend it to anyone that hasn't done this before.
